Default any enginners here? valve cutouts...

hi all,

has anyone here ever done their own valve cutouts in pistons? if so, how did you go about it? depths and cutter sizes would be appreciated the pistons are from a 4x4 cosworth.

alternatively, can anybody recommend anyone to do them cheap?

thanks

use a cutter the size of the valves!

use a vertical miller with either the head or piston set at the same angle as the valves (think its 22.5 degrees from vertical)

as so depth, that depends on what cams/timing you use for there clearance

or just get Mike r to do it
