Default What size van can I hire....

...on a normal Driving License?

Large Commercial?

No idea but need to hire one to move the missis' belongings to my house

anything under 3.5ton i think

theres the list on DVLA. check your driving licence for wat categories our allowed to use. though i'd doesnt make much sense to me

I'm allowed to drive B, B1, f, k, p

But B only says "cars with or without trailers" but what about a transit/sprinter sized van? They're below 3.5 ton arent they? And ive driven one of them before.... albeit possibly illegally if i'm reading this right

I think its 3.5 tonnes

3.5 tonne Luton with tail lift coming right up

Depending on when you passed your test you can drive a 7.5 tonner

my Dad passed his test about 20 years ago and when we moved house im pretty sure he hired a 7.5 tonne

If you passed your test before 1st January 1997 then you can drive up to 7500kgs, after this date you can only drive up to 3500kgs.

As above m8 im lucky as i have my class 1 now so not limited lol but i was untill i did my hgv as i did'nt pass my test untill July 97

TBH a luton van will do the job you may have to do a couple of runs ect but if your moving MILES then get someone with a 7.5t lisince or more
