bad news
i live in a small village where every body knows everybody & me & my mates speek to this older guy about late 30's early 40s that usualy drinks in the same pub as us when as we all work off shore. i dont know him very well but say hi to him now & again,
any way i was sitting in a mates car earlyer today when 2 ambulance's whent screaming past with sirens & all. its not often you get them here realy as theres a population of about 3.5k, so any way i always get this dodgey fealing in my stumach when i see an ambulance here.
so i forgot about it untill a a few hours ago when a freind of the girlfreind said there's been an accident with 1 of this guys kids so i asked about. cos im nosey like that only to be told that his youngest lad of 4 years old had fell through the glass coffee table & it had slit his throat...later on i was told he had died...1 of my mates has already got rid of his glass table as he has a young son of 2..i for 1 would never buy a glass table from here on in as just thinking about this makes me feal sick & my thaughts are with the famaly at this terrible time...very sad

thats devasting news, poor guy. but your point about glass tables etc is rite, ive got kids, and there is certain things you cant have in your house once you have young kids about. thoughts go out to him and his family, R.I.P.

Cant realy put it into word whot im feeling tbh since i have been a dad (my littlen is coming upto 2 in July) When i here thing like this it realy make me STOP and think how lucky we are ,
Its the same with things on the new IE that 2yr old in Leeds thats was killed (and worse
) These things these's days realy hit me and make me think WHY and whot are we doing about them 
I realy feel for the family i hope that they can pull thought this as IMO losing a YOUNG child has got to be one of the worse thing ever RIP little Man

RIPWe had a glass table when i was about 7 years old and it had a metal frame which was razor sharp..i fell against it and cut my head open had stitches everything.....still got the scar!...Some fooking dangerous pieces of furniture about.
