Mine:
My little bro's Imp:
Yesterday it did a 13.4 @ 100.9 (on slicks I think) at the pod.
It's his first outing in it since he nailed an MGF 1.8 VVC engine in over Christmas.
He RR'd it last week with 135bhp ATW

Best 50ft time last year was 1.6secs.
1/4 mile... no idea, hillclimb straights are too short.
Dome 6.5" plated front diff 3.62.
7.5" rear diff is on the way. 3.9
step down gears in GBox. hopefully strong enough for hillclimbs.
trying to decide which gearbox will be ok for hillclimbs.
FFD would be favourite but very expensive.
6sp sequential R&D is on offer here in Germany.
Or what about that new 'Mullitt' box from Marco Polo?
Still looking for a better rear axle, Gp A?

Hi Kenny
the gears are well strong in the mullit box , the only problem for you it is not dogbox it's still syncro box
theres a few peeps still testing the box and they have been fine
400/500/600 bhp and haven't had any probs yet (fingers crossed)
i can do your step off out
9"rear brand new diffs either uprated VC or X trac plated type with any CWP from 3.6 to 5.2
the diff casing are made from the original 909 moulds that Ricardo made for Ford
i can get you a price on an FFD 6/7speed hand brake release if need
theres a few options with the mullit box
uprated mainshaft
uprated 1st gear
uprated center VC
uprated step off

Rear beam solid bushes fitted
Full service
A few other odds and sods
I just got it back- the bill was a bit more than I expected but there were issues with the car I wasn't aware of as I didn't really look at it properly when I got it- but its all ok in the end.
Just gotta decide what to do as I got it 5 weeks ago and have completely lost interest- despite it being loads of fun on the drive home.

Thanks for all the good feedback, hope I can make it better this year.
Hi Deano
you are correct, its not the photo, I can raise the height of all 4 corners with the Leda coilovers but with the WRC front wings the front looks too high. The corners weight were better when the rear end was as seen.
The suspension is Very firm, the rear width is about 5mm too wide on each side. I hope I will fix that by fitting a Gp A rear beam and then set the camber to -2 deg with about 1 deg toe in.
When checking the arch you can see that on extreme corners there is a slight mark.
I bet that 211ps Golf is a lot of fun at the Nuerburgring.
