Default gauge fitting on RST......

Hi guys. Could any one tell me how to wire an - oil pressure gauge and a
- water temperature gauge
on an escort rs turbo please. Apart from the obvious of the wiring them to lights etc. Where do i wire it to and where can it be found on the engine. Many thanks

oil pressure: you fit the sender on the back of the engine where you tee off from the original oil pressure switch (for an electrical gauge), for a mechanical gauge, tee off from the same point and run the line to the gauge in the dash

water temp:cut your bottom radiator hose, and fit the water temp sender and its alloy tpiece here, then run the wires to the gauge

hope this helps

take the top cowling off the steering column and run it to the igntion live on the barrel itself, if i remember right its the yellow wire.

Run the earth to somewhere near, like the radio earth

this is how i had my old gauges set-up on my RST
