bad news, yesterday at work, my girlfriend started bleeding heavily and had bad stomach cramps, we went to the doc, and she examined her.
she said she is unsure if she has miscarried, as the womb is still closed, but tbh i have accepted that it prob wasnt meant to be this time
we cant get a scan till thusday, and the waiting is absolutely killing us.
it upsets me seeing her like this...
<--- real tears
and to top it off, a court letter came yesterday to prosecute me for not answering to a 84mph in a 70 charge
and tonight we were meant to be going to rock city to see the view(for the 4th time!), the automatic, the horrors and mumm-ra... had the tickets for months, and they have been sold out for ages

It happened to my wife mate and its not easy at all, the waiting is a killer. Make sure you keep an eye on her when she goes into hospital to get the scrape as its not a nice time for them.
BUT
1 in 5 women suffer a miscarriage so its not uncommon and there is no reason why the next attempt wont work.
5 weeks after my wifes miscarriage she fell pregnant again and we had a lovely baby girl
I wish you both well.

It is possible to get bleeding at his stage and for the pregnancy to remain vaiable. If at all possible, stay positive and spend as much time as possible with your girlfriend.
I really, really hope that everything is OK for you guys.

i am sure all hopsitals have an early pregancy unit, where in effect they offer a walk in service where you can be seen and if required (which is pretty oftern) they will scan you. (normally this is in the maternity unit)
My wife bleed everymonth with our daughter and we were in the unit almost everymonth.
we have had a good few miscarages so feel for you, and hope that it proves not to be the case, but waiting a coupleo f days for a scan is ridiculus (sp)

been there, done that, mourned the loss
![Sad](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
they normally make you wait a day to either make sure it's happened or to make sure it's only a scare
go there perpared for the worst because that way you won't be building your hopes up, i ended up in the bed next to the mrs because i collapsed when i found out![Sad](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
there are SO many variables here mate that it just goes into your head and twirls around until it makes you crazy
things like the "1 in 7 pregnancies ends in miscarriage" you'll be told, being invited in to watch the scan but not being able to tell your other half what you can see (it's sheilded and so are you), it's really really hard
fingers crossed if it is just a small scare because then they'll, in all likelyhood put a stich in there to make sure it doesn't open up, but they'll run through the procedures with you, it just means no more nookie for you until after the babies born
there is so much more i had written and have just deleted because it's a bit too much, good luck for tomorrow and hope everything goes well
