hit a kerb in the snow :(
was just honestly driving home last night, approached a left hand bend at no more than 10mph, turned steering wheel, and car just carried straight on without moving direction at all and straight into a high kerb with my front right wheel hitting the kerb hard! it was v snowy, but i thought i was being v careful!! obviously noT! didnt mount it, but bounced off! had a look this morning, and the offendin wheel is pointing inwards now, where all the rest are still straight!
does anyone think it will have just knocked the tracking out or could it be more serious??
have jacked car up and span wheel, it spins freely and doesnt wobble, and taken wheel off and none of the components look to be bent to me, but any advice/help/comment appreciated! am going to take it down the local shop this aft so they can check it out!
oh and yes it kerbed the fuck out of my rim, taken a nice big gouge out!
not a happy craigo

thats harsh man, it was really icy last night. 10mph might be a bit quick for cornering in ice though. I have no technical advice for you im afraid. Hope you get it sorted though.

i expect you were travelling more than you thought, i felt like i was doing 20 once through this village and when i check speedo i was actually doing 35. think the rain just made it felt slow.

Lower arm, trackrod end or drive shaft bent.Happend to me,but i was f**king around in th snow. Was my lower arm. These seem to take the full force in these kind of accidents. As above shouldn,t be too expensive.
