The remake wasn't TOO bad - and for anyone who hasn't seen the original it made for a watchable film - plus the storyline was tweeked just enough for it to not be a carbon copy for those that HAD seen the original aswell.... And I thought Laurence Fishburne was good in the '05 remake aswell

The remake was OK but not a patch on the original of which I think the music score was one of its best features, was kinda eerie/scary at times. I nearly bought this in HMV yesterday, 'tis a great film.
