Default my cossie out in the snow-closed looping it

i had to take the car down the scottish borders today

first time ive been on a run in it really since moving to l8 msd closed loop

and im well impressed i done nearly 90 miles and i think its only used about £10 in fuel..and that was shell v-max

i was obviously driving carefully due to conditions but cmon my old 2.0 t-reg mondeo would struggle to return that...and mine is on greys

big thanks again to stu and the team at msd blackpool

Sounds great

Its something i might consider. What did it cost all in for the bits you need to go closed loop? Dont count the injectors or mapping...

bought a level 8 ecu complete for £250

closed loop chip written to my engine spec £250

i think stu done me lambda and boss for around £50-70

4x4 tps second hand off saphymike £30

sure il get that back in fuel costs going to national day

but not just that my car now starts and idles well from cold, and it feels smoother on acceleration

need to get it back on the rollers though just to make sure all is well as its not been live mapped
