when you get someone to remap a cossie ecu do you have to get it chipped every time you do or do they reprogram the same chip ?

If you buy a chip by post it will be a replacment.

This will be a standard stage 1,2,3 etc..

If you have the ecu live mapped, the same chip will be erased and reprogrammed.

depends on the tuner....its an easy cash supply for them (its true)...the chip i've got can be used again but its not worth the hassel because Ahmed charges u a tenner for a new one if its a big change in spec (turbo injectors etc) other wise the same one will be re-used...ur much better off with a live map...in the past i've paid full money for stage 1, 3 and stage 3 t34 chips
