...the American version of my E55 amg run wider tyres? :-

USA
275/35/18 rear 245/40/18 front

UK
265/35/18rear 235/40/18 front


I have ordered a set of rear 275's but wondered why the change for uk cars?

Also the USA version has 10bhp less????

US Fuel is only 91RON isn't it? Maybe the US ones run a different map?

Probably because they handle better on the uk ones but it doesnt matter in america as all their cars suck.

Fueling & emission regs for the power. Hence the old M3 USA had where down a lot of power compared to Europe.

As for tyres dont know, and tbh dont care

they use a different scale to us,91 ron isnt the same as it would be here,itll be higher.

...they should fit spot on!..Quite big for an e-class my f-car runs the same width !!

Deffo the Emissions though for engine pah on BMW shonky diesels come with 255 on rear let along the sports class

Phil your not selling a E class derv in Kent are you? Theres one down there i want to see but cant get there to end of next week
