Default why would you buy this instead of a cosworth?

I've just seen this on ebay and I seem to recall that it was on there before http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ford-sierra-gl...QQcmdZViewItem

I can understand why the company built it in the first place but why would you buy that when you could buy a cosworth?

This isn't a dig at anyone just a genuine question.

Think it's just to show what can be done, especially as it's a show car.

I like it apart from the wheels.

EDIT!Read the original thread question, dunno why tbh, think the reason it's exsists is as above.Surpose you could ask the same thing for other show cars when they get sold.

I can totally see that but my question is why would you pay cosworth money for something that isn't a cosworth? after all it looks like a cosworth, has the same power as a tuned cosworth and has cosworth parts. For Ł2k I'd consider it though

I wouldn't buy it at that money. I know it has had thousands spent but doesn't make it worth anymore. Plus you can buy a proper Cosworth for less (I know of one for sale for less than that)

It's like me adding Lexus lights to a Fiesta and then saying it is worth Ł20 more because I have spent that on the lights.

It just doesn't work that way!!!
