jackpot, bet theres a bit of money in those old motors...even covered in a million years of dust.
Anyone spy a cossie
I read something similar a while ago about a bloke bricking in his xj220 in a factory or something, think there was something dodgy about it, cant remeber the whole story, think he was getting done for tax evasion or something and decided to hide a few collectables so the baliffs couldnt take them.

exactly..my mates dad bought a new factory and it used to house the owner of nintendo or his son or summats car collection.never got to see the cars that were in there personly but i saw a lot of photos.some of the cars used to belong to elvis/coco channel and stuff like that real collectable.

did get to meet meet the guy who was looking after them for him and he was basiclly retired lemans car builder but told me he used to do a lot of hush hush devolpment stuff for ford including rs 200,escort coswort he was telling me about ford giving him a saph and escort to see if it could done stuff like that a real knowledgeble bloke a ford nut could listen to for hours.

Exactly. I have seen on other Forums where people actually receive PROPER bollockings for reposting stuff like that. With suggestions that they should be using the search facility. I'm not advocating that, but merely pointed out that it had been posted before. If I hadn't have said it, guaranteed someone would have posted one of the famous 'Repost' pics.

it's gotta be easier to hit the 'back' button than take the time to make a point of it being posted before..

Slightly harsh perhaps, but it was the 3rd topic in a row that i read with the same damn comment on and im sick of members being criticised for actively posting on teh forum. leave them to it, posting is to be encouraged... If youve seen it before, move on, its GUARANTEED that the major percentage of teh other 27000 members havent.

Next people will be moaning they saw it on another site or fooking TV or soemthing.

Anyway... rant over, its been a truly shit year so far, so ive got to moan at someone.

Why not?

If they are in this country and registered they need to be sorn'ed or taxed no?

The fact that the tax disc would be free is irrelevant!

The company had gone into liquidation, and the administrators came in and one clever chap had the noggin to look behind a wall or something, and hey presto, an XJ220, helped clear of some of the debt too if I remember!
