Yes you can!

Make sure you use Hammerite thinners, not just normal cellulose.

get it powder coated, not to expensive and far far better than paint

POR15 is tough as fuck. I did an FRST rear beam in it and changed my mind. I got the beam sand-blasted and the bloke said it was a right git to get off! Only thing is it doesn't like to be exposed to light directly. Its fine for underbody stuff but anything thats constantly exposed will go milky eventually.
