Default performance car magazine, escort cosworth

got an old mag here from early 1996 and they tested a standard small turbo escort cossie

0-60 in 4.64 secs and 0-30 in 1.14

thats pretty impressive!

do you rekon that it was actually making 227bhp or a little more?

the same standard escos 1/4m in 13.6 @ 98mph

not bad for a standard relatively low power car

thats what they have got mate!!! they also have a stage 3 bug turbo car to compare with which happened to be slower because its owner didnt want to launch the car as hard as the test car. it was only the 0-120 time that it was 5 seconds quicker than the standard car.

i can scan the pages and show you

When it isn't your car, you can always get better figures if you don't care what happens to it .
