Default Greenlight Insurance cover - STAGE 1 remap Free of charge

Hi All,

Following a recent performance revision of 2006 business performance, in the main Ford models have performed really well for us and in addition to a reduction to the base rates under 2 of our schemes we felt the decent performance deserved a further "pat on the back".

From today forth our performance Ford schemes have been enhanced and Greenlight will now rate the following at the same rate as the standard Ford model:

1. stage 1 conversions (ie. Exhaust, Filter, Remap) from recognised tuners/sources (ie. Bluefin chip, MSD Evolution chip)

2. Exhaust, Airfilter, Suspension, Braking

New Customers
If you are looking for a quotation, log onto www.greenlightinsurance.com/passion_ford.php or call us on 01277 263030

Existing Greenlight Customers
Policies will be automatically revised to reflect the current rating under the scheme, but should you wish to add modifications to your policy mid-term simply call us on 01277 263030. The most a mid-term amendment as listed above will cost will be a £25.00 transaction charge.

Should you co-incide a conversion with your renewal, we can include free of charge.

All modifications (o/t tinted windows) are covered on a Like-for-like replacement basis.

Kind regards

Tony

That's absolutely brilliant! Not just the engine bit but suspension and braking are the main two. Insurance companies HATE suspension changes. Amazing service!

We also deal with both standard & heavily modified RS's every day - only difference is that we deal with RS's through Passion Ford, as opposed to the traditional RSOC format.

Essentially, the ethos of members will be the same for both. Personally, we prefer the interactive format of PF & have been here for nearly 4 years now, but thats just our preference.

Live example of Greenlight paying decent value under a claim:
https://passionford.com/forum/viewto...ght=greenlight

There is an assessment process & we do offer agreed value as an option, so you know up front what you'll be receiving.

Track cover is an option with Greenlight's main Underwriters

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

Hi Cozmeister,

We do recognise Collins engineering, thus a Stage 1 Collins chip/remap would come under the same arrangement.

Hi John,

Unfortunately for Bud (Insurance wise) he's still under 25..

25 is the "magic age" as far as most Insurers are concerned, he's also only on 2YR NCB so next year he'll have a double reduction (Age & Bonus) which will make a big difference.

Kind regards

Tony

Hi Smokey,

One of my colleagues is currently talking to MIGWEB at the moment and if the scheme comes to fruition we will be able to potentially do something similar for Vauxhalls, again assuming the Stg1 is via a recognised tuner.

Kind regards

John,

No need to be sorry, nothing to be sorry for.

Just remember to give Greenlight a try when the renewal comes up & we'll see what we can do

Tony, will there still be a £500ish lower floor for cosworth models as there appears to have been previously?

Cheers

Afternoon Rich,

Our minimum premiums for most Ford models have also been reduced, with our Cosworth premiums dropping below the £500 mark for older drivers.

We'll have to see as to how the changes impact upon a) policy sales & b) scheme profitability, but the overall performance of Ford models was really good last year which has allowed us to open the scheme up a bit more.

Kind regards

Tony

Also i'll be in a new house by then, with a garage...so maybe triple reduction?? (postcode will still be B98)......i'll probably do less miles too, taking the car out and putting it back in the garage may be too much hassle with the missus car sat there
