i bought a cheap renault scenic of a friend today with i think immobiliser problems

but you can start the cars if you enter in a 4 digit code on the central locking switch on the dash, i know this as had a megane with the code last year


im after this 4 digit code , the problem is i think they will need to see a logbook to prove identity? i have to send off for one as it was lost so wont have one for few weeks.

once you have that you can then even program the keyfob yourself
