There was an episode of the Bill back in the 80's where a guy called the police when he had his Saff stolen and when it came back it had a different engine out in it-I suppose and old smoker cossie engine, I remember it being white but thats about it.
And in Emmerdale a white saff was used in a post office raid years ago, there was also a series, maybe 'Chancer' that had 2 Lotus Carltons in, well one was a rep as it was silver, does anyone have this or details on it?

watched the first series last night, brought back some memorys. especially where his boss meets him in a cafe, and says, ive got you a new car outside. so they have a cup of coffee and go out to the car. as there walking up, his boss says, its a sierra sapphire cosworth apparently, jimmy nail walks round it, looks at it and says, its a beast. this is the one he drove in the first series, pics are shite, i took pics of my tv screen with a digi camera. its 2wd and its grey. im sure this is the one that got nicked in newcastle.

OK, what about this...
Sapphire cosworth on Beadles About, they trashed it for the bloke (or a dummy anyway)
IIRC it was near water or something, may have put it in a river with a crane or something. Sure it was white (was a few years ago)
