get an AX, cheaper, lighter and all the 106gti bits fit no bother.
A standard 106gti is very good, it likes to rev and has a kick when the cam coms on around 5krpm.

not a straight fit, will need new engine mounts and the box means new driveshafts. It has been done before but uncommon due tot he cost in the serious amount of work required in fitting it, its better spent on tuning the 106 TU engine
The 16V 106 lump is 120bhp as standard and I was gonna supercharge mine to 300bhp, more than enough for a FWD car.
