Default Help ..... Gearstick snapped on my 2WD Cossie !!!

Driving home and revered the old girl up ont the drive when the gearstick came away in my hand !!! On coler inspection it appears it's snapped halfway down si i've got a little stubby bit (no change there then ) to change gear with but i wouldn't really want to drive it too far like this. I know that it's a common problem on these T5 boxed cars but what's involved time/cost wise to get it fixed and does anyone have the part in question that they'd like to sell me ???

3 screws to take the surround off, 4x10mm nuts under that and 2x13mm bolts holding the stick on iirc

easy job, no more than 5 minutes, just weld it back together

The nuts shook them selves out on mine, quite funny as gear stick just started to flop around.

Luckily i was only 2 miles from home after a 200mile drive. Only took me and the old man 10min to sort added shake proof washer and some locktite and its been fine ever since.
