Guy I work with got a producer and when he went to produce the documents found out the MOT had expired.

Any ideas as to the severity of the fine?

Any chance of endorsements? The courts seem to be handing points out like smarties at the minute.

It's not an endorsable offence.

Get the car Mot'ed asap

He'll get a summons, go to magistrates court

Genuine mistake etc etc

If the magistrate believes him fine will be negligable and like has been said, non endorsable

No MOT is not a serious offence
