Default M3 Evo braided clutch hose...anyone know where to get one?

Hi Group

I am looking to get hold of a M3 Evo braided clutch hose, am pi$$ed off with the biting point being so low and am trying to

I have done some google searches and am drawing a big blank on a supplier.

Anyone had one fitted/got one? Any thoughts on who could supply?

Thanks in advance.

Hi James,

Can I adjust the clutch somehow myself? Like changing the oil / bleeding it or whatever?

Hi Si and James

(Si, i finally brought my evo, hope yours is still going ok?)

I heard that BM sold an upgrade version of this pipe (thanks for pic), any aftermarket suppliers?

Is that a pesky CDV i can see attached to your slave?

Still going fine! Damn rollover hoops pop up on every other hooligan sideways moment - did it at the recent "Drift" day we did at Weston Zoyland!

Piccies of your car dude!!! And whats the spec?

Should have a bleed nipple somewhere in the system Si

As Rich says, get the end fittings off and get them to someone who could knock one up in 15 minutes

I have heard its a bm upgrade part for the evo at Ł60+.

This was why i was hoping that someone knew of an aftermarket firm that didnt make huge percentage profit on it.

ben does not sell them for an EVO. only the non-EVO

BMW sell the part for the EVO. just go to your dealers

I thought you were going for an E36 Steve?

Surely you're not going rip the seats out of a shiny E46???? What are your plans now you've got it?

Get some pics up both of you (Silver / Steven RW)!!!!!

Sounds good!!! My E36 deffo needs bigger brakes - they seem to fade easily and struggle just on a couple of hard stops on the road!

Will we see this beast at the Ring then? Be good to see how you get on!

Euan - my car has no tax and I am waiting for the insurance cert to arrive so i can tax it. If its here in time I will pop through

Sib - yeah, i think the brakes are the initial weakness! Sure thing I will try and get the M3 to the ring in easter

EIL - of course - as soon as the cars are road legal it would be good to meet up! I dont think there will be anything in it performance wise - few extra kilos to go with the few extra bhp!

My turn to hand u the keys aswell

Cheers everyone

I need to replace the front brakes on my evo ready for its trip to the ring in Apr.

i cant seem to find any decent sites with info on?

(Si, photos to follow soonest, promise)

If not, 4 pot 7 or 8 series calipers, decent disks, fluid and pads for the cheaper option

P.S. don't listen to half the muppets on e36coupe, buy DS2500 pads

I brought the part from BM in the end

It seems to have a made a bit of a difference. I am not grating gears like i used to.

It has probably lifted the pedal by about 1" off the floor, oh, and chaging the fluid did help as well!

Anyone else struggling with their pedal wont go far wrong by changing the pipe.

Good man, remember though if it's a new clutch it's still a very low bite. Still occassionally stall mine after driving the run around for a while

Thanks James.

I will bear in mind. Apparently the clutch was only just fitted a few weeks ago.

Brakes are all done now, clutch works (sort off!), Koni's on order.....strueth who said owning cars would be cheap!
