Batfink: Whatever year that was, there was 3 singles called "the power of love"
Huey Lewis + the news, Jeniffer Rush and Frankie goes to hollywood.

(and yes I have been known to be a local radio dj! )

Thank you Sir

You know what i like about the music from the 80's probably sounds fucking stupid but the diction (if thats means the words were clear??) was always pretty much perfect on near enough all the songs

I'm only 22 but some seriously good music came out from the 80's. Using new technology etc like computer music, drums and strange noises.
Love it!
But I'm glad I didn't grow up in that era at the same time

Some cracking tunes up there lads

Few of mine (many many of mine are more albums than particular tracks, and most are rock/metal albums, like Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet", Metallica's "Master of Puppets" and Motley Crue's "Dr Feelgood" etc) but a few of mine, some already mentioned;

John Farnham - You're the Voice
John Parr - St Elmo's Fire
Duran Duran - Ordinary World (not strictly 80's but it's close enough )
Cutting Crew - Died in your arms tonight
McAuley Schenker Group - Anytime
Winger - Seventeen
Whitesnake - Is This Love
Van Halen - Why Can't This Be Love / Jump
The Cult - She Sells Sanctury
Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me / Animal / Hysteria
Dire Staits - Money For Nothing
Extreme - Mutha / Kid Ego / Play With Me
Kiss - Crazy Nights
Loverboy - Working For The Weekend
Martika - Toy Soldiers
Autograph - Turn Up The Radio
Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone

to name just a few ........

And a true classic - Men Without Hats - Saftey Dance If you haven't got it, just go and find/download/buy/beg/borrow/steal it - classic
