Is it common for sapphire dash's to "bow"

Mines bowed on the passenger side near there vents for the windscreen. As if the heat has caused it bow. Is that common? Anything can be done to be put it right?

I've had it for ages but having not driven mine for so long and using the mondeo day in and day out made me realise just how much my saph is showing its age (rattly annoying bits and bobs etc...). So I guess its just a case of hunting for a mint one only for it to do it again next summer?
