good point,we could all have a right good bitch about this couldnt we,as thats the norm on here now.

if it wasnt for the traders we wouldnt have a huge ford tuning and motorsport scene, its about time they are treated abit better than drug dealers in dark alleys!!
if we all pack in tommorow its only you lot that will suffer.

I say live and let live, but the PassionFord logo is a bit naughty

with regards slashing prices etc etc etc I think all market places suffer from this, and I agree entirely its very frustrating when your an established company trying to earn a living and you have every tom, dick and harry starting a tuning business from their back bedroom. It's the same in the web development world you'd be amazed how many people's uncles cousins sisters boyfriends best mate can do websites

having said that even the established tuning/supplying companies on here started somewhere and I doubt many went for venture capital

I don't see how you can prevent people posting on here saying that they are pleased with a companies service/products regardless of their PassionFord status. I have frequently sung the praises of TurboSystems and I don't believe they are traders either

tricky one!

Nothing tricky about it, i am more than happy for anyone to sing peoples praises on here, makes not a toss of difference to me wether they are a trader or not.

What we dont want, is traders coming on here advertising and undermining those traders who do pay for the privaledge, but that of course is a totally different scenario.

Yeh I agree I think I was just looking at it from the angle that if one was to adopt a cynical view one might think that the trader may have engineered the post to gain said free advertising, and thats the tricky bit I guess. Looking at it from other paying traders view point.

That's what I reckon. I have kept quite on the traders thing until recently and there are allsorts of ways to circumvent the system.

The easiest is to say to those customers that are Passionford users 'Just pop on and let everyone know how pleased you were with the service', then there is no need to pay the £XXX to become a legit trader.

Behave people... where do you want to draw the line?

They cant have banners or directly offer items for sale or give prices, or weblinks. That to me is enough without getting into sillyness.
