Default Pink Floyd Live at Earl Court

Decided to have a night in tonight and watch a few dvd's as the weather is crap and I dont fancy writing my car off lol

My mum recently picked up the Pink Floyd Live at Earls Court DVD which we both went to in 1994.

Brings back sooooo many memories, what a great night and shows how awesome they are.

Did anyone on here go to it ?

Not long after I picked up a bootleg double cd from the night which recently has been my regular choice on the Ipod.

So it leaves me with this thought, Are they going to tour again ? After last year at Live 8 I so hope so

I pressume you are talking about the PULSE dvd? (20th Oct 1994, Earls Court London)

Two guys from my work went to it - I had barely heard of Pink Floyd back then

Fucking LOVE them now tho, and hella jealous! I have the DVD, and it is MAGICAL! Also one of, if not THE, best live light shows ever captured on video!

And doubtfull they will ever tour again Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters still don't see eye to eye, and lets face it : they don't need to do it for the money! So unless it's purely for the love of playing together, it'd doubtfull they'll reform, and whilst they currently (still) don't get on, then I can't see that happening..... Which is a shame as I'd love to see them play live....

And unlikely that the "post Waters" era Floyd will reform, as Gilmour has his solo thing going on etc.... I think it has just been laid to rest now. Unless it's to reform (unlikely) I can't see it happening.....

Gilmour said no to a tour and watters was also touring with his stuff.

Watters also played a few gigs of dark side of the moon with nick mason though.

I would love them to do it.

The pulse dvd is one of the best ever.

Please don't be so negative about them touring

Yes I do mean the Pulse tour, I have the live cd from the night if you wanted a copy (not pulse cd)

I was only 14 and it was the night of my birthday when we went, the album I have still has my ticket in it lol

I know what you mean though, there loaded, but.. Roger Waters didn't perform with them for years, then did at Live 8, tbh I wouldn't be that bothered if he joined back into it again, Dave Gilmour is equally as much of a legend.

My old dot has been to see him loads and said he is still amazing but its the whole band/ light show thing I want to see again although to get me over this recent Floyd thing I might have to get myself some tickets if some come up.

Oh and to hear the whole of The Dark Side Of The Moon album played again as tbh that alone has some history.
