dont take any pics in the red light,youll end up feeding the fishes.dont buy any 'supplies' from the street vendors that will hassle you non stop with "psssst...e,speed,coke...." and dont let any of your group wander off on their own,its a dodgy place but fun if careful.i lived in holland for 2 years but prefered rotterdam to amsterdam,not that youll see much of the sights.the sex museum was interesting....

Amsterdam is a nice city, but for sure not the best in Holland

If you wnna see some nice city's, go to Utrecht, Eindhoven, Roermond or Maastricht.

And if you are in Roermond, then visit JP Cars on saturday www.cosworth.nl

I'll go 2 times a year to Amsterdam, just for shopping!

Was there a few months back but was with the bird my pals and her pals but we still took a walk around the red light at night.

A bit of an eye opener as some of the red light girls are proper stunning

Get lots of hassle with guys selling you stuff but just ignore them. Great place and i'll be going back soon. Oh and watch out for the Taxi drivers taking long short cuts to try and bump you

As above really, dont be expecting crowds out on the streets getting smashed like a typical lads holiday in shagascruff cause its not. There were familys walking about the red light area when i was there a lad about 8 with his dad holding his hand pointing at all the pro's which i found strainge tbh

Make sure you get take away from the little shops on the corners that dispense chicken and chips when you put money in - that stuff is delicious!

Travelled all over Holland and have had the luxury of going maybe 15 times as my Dad used to live there.

My brother and I took the respective girlfriends once for a long weekend. Amazing how your shy lilttle girlfriend lights up when confronted with stuff she's never really been exposed to before!

went 4 my stag do .it was mega went for 5 days got well mashed went cafe called lost in amsterdam mega and one of those (bars with the birds in hot pants and roller boots) sorry name gone ,down side always asking 2 buy drugs and pick pocketers ... also hire a bike and peddle boat well funny

PMSL, first time i done mushrooms when i went there! Was so freaking funny, i couldnt stop laughing for ages. Much better than any Gym work out
