Anyone had any experiences putting an I4 engine from a mk5 RS2000 into something else? We bought a rotten RS for the engine for our mk4 track car but not got a lot of experience with this engine....

I'm sure I've read you can use a cvh gearbox on it - think we need to change flywheel and clutch? Any ideas which one to use?

Other thing is rear engine mount - can you use a modded cvh one? And any idea if bonnet will close with the timing chain cover?

Any advice or links would be much appreciated

you won't be able to close th ebonnet as the rocker cover sticks up through the front of it

someone has done this before but i can't remember where it was, possibly on the xroc site if you want to find out anything mroe

In germany and holland there are a couple of Mk3 and Mk4 escort's (and Fiesta's) with an I4 RS2000 engine!

you can use a cvh box u just need to use a cvh fly wheel and clutch thats what i have done with mine
