claiming uprated engine mounts in a 106 increase BHP

 

the less the engine twists on its mounts the more power is transmitted to twisting the wheels

 

technicaly does not increase BHP tho

 

Ah, but if the engine mounts in there are complete shite, as Steve says, harder mounts allow more of the power to be sent to the wheels, rather than loosing power through engine/box twist...

So *technically* they could be increasing bhp at the wheels.... Engine BHP and wheels bhp are two different things

Well, the torque really, but its the same shit.

Ive seen tests and shit done on V8s on the USA, suprising results.

 

arh so i didnt waste my money of uprated mounts that stop the engine from moving at all and make the car feel like a go cart
