there is always someone out there to make a big fuss about what is really not that much of a problem for all examples (the guy probably subscribes to which magazine and is a life long complainer).

a mate of mine used to be a a distributor for Noble and he has sold a fair number, he is still in contact with a lot of the owners, and reckons they are still the closest thing you can get to a racing car on the road. I've not heard him talking about reliability problems, bear in mind he has sold quite a few - the problems are being exaggerated.

My mate has got a 3ltr one. Great car, been in it to Le Man 3 years running now. Even drove it part of the way back last year

Always gets a lot of looks and he hasnt had many problems with it at all.

Gearbox takes a bit of getting used to though!!!!!!

I like the way you say he hasn't had "many" problems . If I spunked £45-50k on a BRAND NEW car, I wouldn't want ANY problems . Unfortunately, that is the problem with small volume manufacturers, the buyers end up being the development team .

I would have to say that I like this car, and it is on my list of cars that I would replace the cossie with!

Go for it Phil! When I last looked into it, there were a couple of useful differences between the 2.5 and 3.0. I cant quite remember what, but iirc it had something to do with the diff or the gearbox.

Also 3.0 has better interior from mem.

To be fare i know people who have spent a damn site more than that on a mass produced car and had more problems!!!!! The only problems he has had were a faulty battery and a water belt which kept coming off which was fixed with a new idler..... For a non mass produced car i think thats acceptable.....
