Finally refurbed the comps, decided on white, though maybe ill change my mind after driving the car for a week or so

and it only took me about 3hrs in my mams shed

They look really improved, good work!

I have white MOs, and after 5 days not cleaning them at the Ring last Easter (due to the no car washing rules ), they look grey permanently.

I need to do the same to mine. Not sure how long a sprayed on finish would last, but at least you can change the colour as when you feel like it.

I was going to Powder coat mine, but saying that it costs Ł120 a set locally (blast, clean and coat)... or I could use some rattle cans and spend Ł20 and just redo them every few months.... hmmm

Good job by looks of it mate, some nice blue compo decals wld be nice on one spoke

 

tbh ive always used spray cans to refurb mine and they last ages, as long as theyre lacquered properly, and cleaned every now and again

im gonna get some more decals for it anyway, and ive done centrecaps again so theyre blue

 

Look good i did aset on my a old golf cab i had yrs ago did them black as the car was white and as you as long as you get the Laquer on right there fine

Hartlepool is also smoggy, especially about 7.30 in the morning when all th cossies get fired up when people are going to work

 

theres only 3 in the full town mark, and none of em get used apart from mine
