how loud is 105db?

Default how loud is 105db?

i want to take my civic Vti to snetterton this weekend but they have a 105db limit and i know my exhaust is loud but dont know how loud!
anyone had expierinces with these and noise regs?

What exhuast have u got on it??

My old car had a Tanabe Smr etc and was about that loud. Esp in VTEC static noise was so bad but drive by was over that

its a powerflow 4" with no cat and all the way through to one box at the back

That sounds similar to the Tanabe i had so its fooking loud then it ll be close tbh mate but as i said its the drive by db which you will more likely fail on.

Yikes, thats going to be MEGA loud on vtec.

Sort out a silencer for it asap

most tracks are under a 100 db anyway so you would really need to get it down a bit

Hi Roosie, the 105 db limit isn't that loud, most performance exhaust will be close, the static test is noise meter at 0.5 metre at 45 degree's to the outlet of your exhaust at approx 3/4 of max rpm, if your vtec comes in at that point you maybe in trouble.

lovely car too loud lol nah just testing really unless it makes good money but i know there fairly rare especially in this condition with full honda service history.
