Rich the stack under reads .

Mark
Who was driving when it done the unoffical 216MPH
My car hasent & never will reach 216mph its beyond our reach even with circa 1000bhp. The car has seen 210.2mph with Mark driving un-officially.
Its to do with metres/sec. If it took say 10secs to do 200 to 216 that would be around 1000m in distance meaning around 205 at the mile, it aint going to happen. 212/213 is our ultimate aim & even this will be very difficult. Only know one street car past 215 in 1.5miles & thats Joels Viper.
Sorry for the mistake and put right now dont think i will ever see speeds above 180 MPH unless DAVE SORT OUT YUM TAKE ME FOR A SPIN !!

I can comment on the Stack reading, mine is set to the circumferemce of the front tyres (sensor) & should be spot bollix. However it has varied by up to 2mph on the Datron read out, usually reading up to 2 mph slow at 200mph, but has read 2mph fast one time. My max recall was 209 I recall along with a 0-100 of 6.8secs.

Hit 155 in my escos on GPS till my arse let go, lol

Hit the limiter in the M3 going to germany last year, 155 much more stable in a BMW.

Not one for off the clock speeds tbh, more of an acceleration kind of driver.

Don't comment on what you don't understand. I have driven and been involved with numerous track and rally cars in the 70/80s. It was an ex Earnhartdt car which had been modified and was doing straight line runs on the salt flats. The cars back then were well able to reach 200mph being much lighter than todays with all their extra weight.
again you lie, IF this was done at bonneville you would have received a patch entering you in the 200mph club...where is said patch and cert, your name would be on the "list". you lie like a rug.
now then fella's lets just be like 'the fonz'.......COOL!
but with lines like that, i'm not so sure absolute quality

i've seen 209 in an enzo on the straight over one of the bridges in prg3

driven by somone else, 153 on the speedo of a TT XR4i
4AM on the M25 a week after it opened, it's not quite so clear on there nowdays
driven meself 135, on the speedo in a 2.8 cortina.
Shame the rev counter stoped moving at 120
Only thing i've regularly had off the clock are transits
unfortunatly they where all old wedge ones with the 90 MPH speedos that allways read 20% over
fatsest ever was 96 in a diesel LWB minibus checked on the speedos of all the cars we overtook on the motorway by me mate hanging out the window reading theirs as we went past (90% of em read 90 mine read 96)

beat ya lol! An ex-gf gave me head at around 100. Also been doing 150 while my mate is banging a horror on the back seat. Highest non-sex speed was 160 and new-ish 911 went slowly past me (it had been even up until then). All clock speeds tho.

But the Topic title is "WHATS THE FASTEST YOU HAVE SEEN???"

The fastest I have seen in a car was when my dad test drove a 2wd Saph when the first came out at 152mph, so god knows what that really was, in his XR3i he had 130 on the colck

no i still got her - cant wait to get her on the road again now!

and talking of s2's - in my mates grey one (which i think you've seen) we got an indicated 135 on that short stretch between billinghay and north kyme before you have that big left going into north kyme. that was properly quick - ka manages about 80 in the same distance!

i've hit the rev limiter in 6th gear a couple of times in my fiecos, = 7700rpm, on 215/40/17's, 3.62 final, 0.82 gear ratio = 183.5mph. but didn't have my snooper in the car at the time.

also seen 181/2 mph on my snooper and my bro's road angle, @ just over 7600 rpm. (well my road angle resets @ 160 to 0, then starts reading, and was @ 20/21 mph when let off)

plus done over 179-180mph on a road angle with 2 passengers.

In my xr2tt seen 140 mph quite a few times on my snooper.

All on a 1.5 mile road between 2 roundabouts, (private) and my speedo's only read to 140mph

For PF mag @ Brunters, with Ecu/fueling issue's done 174 mph @ 7300 rpm, on 23psi boost and 11.4:1 AFR,(usually run 11.8 at richest, and just seemed so guttless, so i backed off) At around 1 mile mark in the Dark and rain.
