Ok, no one looks on the relevant section so im posting here 
no fools posting shit about mountain bikes either
Had a gixxer but wouldnt mind another, but would have to be a k5 or newer....but im thinking of spending less....
r6's seem to go for decent brass, any reason why? Also CBRs and thundercats seem to be bargain priced????
Not sure what to get IF i get another...

I really want a bike this summer, passed my test 8 years ago but never had a bike. The criteria...
A) got to be faster than my cossie
B) look and sound ace
C) be able to wheelie like fook
D) won't kill me if I look at it funny
E) circa 5k
The choices I am thinking are Gixxer 600/750/1000, Ducati 996, old foxeye shaped urban tiger blade
Non very logical but bikes are all about soul

3-4k will be the old model which was pretty much unchanged since it's release in 1999.
I'd take another GSXR6 over an R6 myself.
What do you mean by CBR? They've been making them since 1987 so there are obviously a lot of models out there.
3-4k gets you 2000-2003 bikes which I always found a bit bland next to the GSXR and R6.
Thundercats are cheap and worth looking at if you are spending sub 2k.
The were never cutting edge which is why they are so cheap. Spend 3-4k on a late one though and it will only continue to haemorrhage money
Personally I'd go for a GSXR1000K1/K2 or maybe a CBR929/954 Fireblade

Save your money and make sure you're around for your kids childhood.
And yes I know you could get run over tomorrow blah blah blah before all the motorbike massive attack me. But you run alot higher risk of biting it on a bike. After all, it's every other cunt on the road you need to worry about, not just yourself.

So when i'm dead and not ever ridden a motorbike in fear of killing myself, Along with a load of other things because of what might happen. All my friends in heaven will be taling about all this fun stuff when someone says to me 'WHAT?? You've never ridden a motorbike. By this time were all dead anyway and the only difference being is. They lived a life of excitement and died happy. I lived life as a boring cunt and died anyway. Live your life to the full. I've got brittle bone and can kill myself from falling over. Lee, my mate is selling his 06 plate R6, for Ł5800 if you can stretch a bit further. Absolutley mint and only done 700 mile from new. Bargain if you ask me!
