alans been useing it to diagnoes a fault for a few weeks,he got it sorted,but unluckily it span a she

so could be sold as is if decent offer???????????

if its only done a shell why not just get the crank polished and fit new shells?

can be done without taking the head off too, bit of a pain, but not the end of the world

what do you value a q-plate at????????????considering it was reshelled a few years ago with a brand new genuine shell so should be cleaner than alot of them?????????

Not meaning to thow spanners in the works just curious, as I read earlier on another thread if a car is re-built without 1 majour component it can keep its original identity

 

with a fucked engine, if the rest is mint id say about 6k on a Q plate

I would say no more than 6-7 k..at the end of the day its on a q & needs a rebuild if yu get another bottom end it will prob need a freshen up anyway & gasket set & so on so your gonna need to spend a bit of cash to get it right...there is 2 in the for sale section on here for 11k or there abouts & they are runing & hpi clear so if you spent any more than 7k on the q plate by the time you build the engine it will owe you aout 9-10k..for another 1k or there abouts you can have a car with no history..
