Default Ford Cargo

Ok, I know it's not the place, but it is a ford

The owners of a Cargo horsebox hav'nt got the log book!
They need to know what engine its got for insurance purposes. All I've got to work from is the model number, Cargo 0813.

Please reply quickly, as its kind of desperate.
Thanks very much for your help.
Sorry about the haste.Cargo 0813.

I THINK the 13 part refers to 130 bhp.

08 is the weight - in this case 8 tons (or more commonly 7.5tonner)

Not sure what engine size that would be, sorry to be vague.

What should I look for when buying a horsebox lorry?

Type of chassis: a good starting point for the average horsebox is the Ford Cargo 0811 or 0813 models, or the Leyland Roadrunner 8-12 or 8-13. Both are reliable, have good turning circles, although both are best with 6 cylinder engines.

You got the reg no?

Just go to the DVLA site, and look for the TAX ONLINE section.

You can look up taxation details for cars there. Dont see why trucks would be any different.

I looked on the DVLA website and they think its a 6.0 not a 6.2, If they say so, I should trust them shouldn't I?
