Default yes

i raced super one in the late 80's and early 90's and competed in the last 3 british endurance kart championships(when they were 2 stroke), i also did cadet instruction and ran my own karting company GPR Karting, gave it all up last back end of last year and bought a cossie, as my knees, back and kneck can no longer take the kind of punishment karting gives you!!!!

i fucking LOVE go karting.. im fairly reasonable at it too which helps.. although i havent had any major race experience, ive driven pro-karts in cyprus and after 40 mins i only got lapped once (i spun out in to a gravel bed ) by the current cyprus champion bloke..

Cabrio,

The difference between a Pro-Kart, and one like Pops and I have is comparable to the difference between a standard RS Turbo, and a 500bhp cossie.

Race engines actually rev too! 19,000 rpm

Ok.. the one i went in felt fast as fuck though suppose its like driving an RST after driving a 1.0 micra
The fucker had what looked like a bike engine.. and rad and some fucking monsterous exhaust that was noisey as you like it was actually quite refreshing not to be able to take a corner at FULL speed unlike you can with the shitty 'hire' karts over here!
PON how quick is your race-kart.. 0-60 or whatever and what do they top out at.. just curious!

Totally depends how you gear them, as you have a 9 or 10 tooth gear on the engine, and anywhere between 80 and 100+ teeth on the axle.

Can be geared for 2 second to 60 from a rolling start (some don't have clutch ability), or can be geared for 110 mph +
