Lets get a little poll going...
I think i know which way it will go
BUT
I had a little accident last year and need a car for 12 months to see me through til i get some no claims back, but need something im going to enjoy, it is going to be mine and stus main car, to cruise around in now we have the house, so we deicded to go for a diesel...
I was going to have a golf, but not so sure, is it worth spending 4.5k on a car im not keeping long term??
So lets have your vote, and any opinions you have on the cars And anything i need to look out for, hoping the turbo will have gone in the next week or so, so can go start test driving hmmmm
If there are any other diesels that you think are beter and cheap to insure for a 23 year old female with a claim against her all the above are coming out around £1k fully comp, but thats not bad since they want 1300TPFT for the turbs

out of the 3 youve listed id say golf, lees mum has an a3 tdi, 130bhp model, it goes like fook and dead economical, but the leg room is atrocious, think the Golfs look better anyway

I'd hve a good look at what you can actually get for 4.5k your at the lower end of the spectrum with the audi and gt tdi imo cause they seem to hold there value well and for that money will proably be an early high miler.
Why not try something like a civic vti youd be surprised at how cheap the insurance is and how economical they are and you would get a good 1 for 2k
