Default Saph with gold Mo's at Santa Pod today

Gutted for you mate !

At last after a few hrs a nice looking Ford rolls up and I hope for a good run to shut my mates up.

Staged up, gingerly lauched it, possibly stamped on the clutch a bit and BANG, ooops, something on the transmission let go

Couldn't of had much worse luck considering how bad the track was.

Still looked lovely though when parked up

Not really mate, tons of vauxhalls there as I know a load of people from Migweb came down.

Bumped into Chip, good to see him.

Hardly anything running into the 12's so not exactly many fast cars, track didn't open till nearly 12 and it rained at 3.

Had a good day meeting up with the usual crowd though.

Thanks for the comments people, I've just noticed this topic after posting mine, oops!

The grey one was my mate, was his first time up the strip and he's only had the car a few weeks. It's running stage 1. His first couple of attempts were 17seconds He had a few more runs after the rain and did consistent high 15. He's dying to get a bit more practice, improve the times and get the car sorted though so good luck to him

Cheers Brad

Brad- your car looks

What did you actually break ?

Nobody seemed to run good times today, everyone seemed well under there PB's so your mate didn't do that bad tbh

Zero grip and huge head wind isn't the best combination for a good ET

Not too sure yet. I think it's the diff but won't know for sure till I have a proper look during the week. Strange thing was I managed to reverse off part of the track but no other gear would drive Won't drive in any gear now I've got it home.

Yeah they weren't the best conditions for good times today I suppose, nice and cold though

Oops! Anyone know where I can buy a rebuild kit to do it myself? Also what are people paying for diff repairs? Anyone recommend a decent place?

Cheers Brad

Marco Polo for one, although he isn't that local to you.

Quiet sure Hausers or Adrenaline could sort you out too.

A1 Gearboxes in Eaton Socon, St Neots have done a few for my mates without any problems at all.

As I know nout about diffs or gearboxes would someone please explain what part that is that broke ?
