Default Blown down fences

Are they covered on house insurance does anyone know?

in-laws have claimed for their green house that had its door blown of and now leans to one side, so i'd say it's definitely worth a try!

Fences aren't normally covered, walls usually are (so a brick structure with fence panels in it, should be covered - the sort of thing that usually goes around a housing estate). As always, you may need to argue the toss to get anywhere.

Not worth claiming just for fence panels, once you've paid your excess and because you've made a claim, they'll hike your premiums up on your next renewal.

i have jsut replaced my fence, cost about £110 for 5 panels (got good one at £16 a pop), 3 posts adn 4 bags of ballast, one cement

so IMO not worth trying to claim
