i know roughly where it is, as i said i was stood outside the car watching him, he had the cover off under the steering wheel so i know its under there and it took him no longer than a minute to get the part in his hand and put it back, what im asking is, is it just a case of slotting it in place? i.e a 10 year old could do it?

Thanks mates

Turned out the guy at fords who took it out yesterday for me was a diamond geezer because he came back out today and put the new one in for me, so no labour, it just cost me 17 quid

Also while he was doing it i was telling him how i need my rear arches replacing soon(bit of rust starting) and he told me hes got a mate who could do it for a good price, he was a top bloke at fords
