I know what you mean, i saw a couple of genuine Ford saph rear wings on e bay the otherday and was very tempted to buy them, just no spare £ notes at the moment, can't see them remaking the 500 body kit

I don't really see Ford re-making bodykits for a 20 year old car, but that's just *my* opinion

I did hear not so long ago that there was going to be a run of new RS500 front bumpers made, but you dont belive everything you hear do you....

with enough cash it is possible to re manufacture anything as if ford release the moulds/blueprints etc then someone with the right kit could do it but would it be worth it ??? most really sort after parts are always going to be availible as people will always buy to sell it just means you will pay through the nose but alot of bits are readily availible in fibreglass/resin /plastic etc but its never as good as the real thing . and wasnt the rs owners now in talk with ford about all rs stock so that the rs owners could look int re producing certain items .

how come other manufactures are very good on heritage spares,but ford couldn't give a toss for keeping supplys for the older cars ? it must pay for the others to do it.

if you look in classic ford in the ad pages there is a company who produces fibreglass rep body panels kits etc .ive spoken to them in the past and they have alot of genuine parts to make moulds from and they said they could produce pretty much any ford part that is in high demand in up to six different materials ie /plastic /carbon fibre/fibreglass etc/its just people dont understand or justify the cost in doing it so they dont . and if you thought about it if for example if the 500 kit was re made like anything once you sold to every body who wanted one you would only then sell them every now and then.once you release something someone allmost always copies it then sells it cheaper .and how many 500's have not got the kit on allready so it would only be 3door owners and people building reps that would gain but then how many cars are acctually left for someone to make money making them and selling em not many but as said anything is possible if you got the right amount in your bank account

thats the most stupid thing you have ever said on here ( and you say some shit ,,lol,)

3 door cossie parts are going up and up by the day ,,just ask anyone trying to find 3 door parts

3 door parts will soon demand as much as mk1 and mk2 parts as where can you find them

The best thing anyone can do is buy as many parts for any cossie as they can store as parts will start to go up and up in the next few years as good parts become more and more in demand ,
Please remember that out of all the cossies that get broke for spares now 50% of the parts on them are scrap , so the parts that are in good condition will demand more money as everyone is fighting for the same parts and will pay good money to own them .

Look at 500 parts ,,splitters £1000 front bumpers £600

Parcell shelfs £300 etc etc ,, people will pay if they want it
