Default What damage has the wind done?

Next doors fence has gone down
Over the roads bin has gone smashing into the ack of a metro about 10ft from where it was.
Our bin has managed to make it 5ft across the garden with loads of wood in it
Next doors mat went up in the air and is covering their plant pots

I decided to take a walk down to the shop and i couldnt move at on point where it got bad, i shat myself then i couldnt stop laughing

our fence panels went down last night, our garden furniture ended up blown into our back door!

at work a huge marquee has collapsed outside my window and i've been told to look out incase it comes smashing through my office!

had to move my car cause trees have fallen down and there are branches flying about everywhere, we almost got wacked by one while moving the car! i also have stone chips along my car where we have to park in a gravel car park!

apparently someone has been trapped by a tree in uxbridge... and 4 men have been knocked off of scaffolding today!

My mum has been sent home from work because it's been evacuated! She came in and said they had sent her home at quarter to 2, bearing in mind she works literally 5 minutes away....she's been clinging onto a bus stop for half an hour! PMSL How cruel am i.

The door to the comunal store cupboard has been banging away so I just took my cordless drill down and chucked a screw through the door into the frame. Stopped it banging, just hope nobody needs to get in there

We back onto a large area of woodland and thankfully the last big storm in the 80's got rid of the closest oak tree to the house

At least you know it won't be upset for long.

Because I'm sure it'll bounce back.

Went to a neighbouring town, was there for 20mins, came back again to find two tree's down blocking the road

Got home, was hout for a total of about 50mins I guess, to find one of my fence panels laying flat in my garden, and the other a couple metres up the gravel path beside my house Can't lift em high enough on my ownto slot em into the posts in this wind, so they are staying there till my bro drops in this eve to lift em with me

Forgot to mention, the FUNNIEST thing happened this morning. I have three cats, so I cam downstirs bout 10am, went to kitchen and opened back door to let em in. 1 came out from hiding behind some trelice(sp) in the garden and bolted across the garden to the back door, the second was cowering in the porch anyway and slinked in, and as usual, the third sits in the shed when it rains, so I had to wait a couple seconds for her to come down the garden. She shot across the garden and made the turn to come towards the door, but was hit with a BIG gust of wind, and promptly carried on in a straight line, colliding with the wall of my sitting room

She did not look amused

Just heard on the radio that part of the roof has come off at Lords Cricket Ground.

We lost two billboards this morning near my house - one went straight through the windscreen of some woman's car, with her trapped inside.

Lively out there!
