its got me out of work early one off the tables that they pour concrete onto to make the floors on or site just liffted and blew off, doesnt sound that bad but when you way up it was on the twelveth floor at the time, and crashed into the building behind sraight through the roof. yes it was empty then the next line off tables started to lift so that was it all out. see what damage is in the morn and see iff the craine is still up

We just bought a couple of flats to rent and one of them has just been renovated, apart from the garage which is an old breeze block thing with a dodgy absestos roof i think, and I've just come to check on them and the door on the garage is hanging off, we've managed to prop it up and I've just phone the builder who can hopefully (fingers crossed) start on a new stone one next week.
Loads of bins flying around and a few lorries round here overturned.

ive come home to find one fence panel destroyed and a couple of posts almost over, both my neighbours fences over and my local corner shop has lost a bit of its roof.

Just worried about undesirables getting into my garden now.....i'll have to leave the dog out all night...thats if he still has a kennel left

A few fences in the area have been blown down, and the bins like to go wandering down the road by them selves,

the wind also tried to steal my BBQ cover good old calor gas bottle has held it in place.

just waiting for the snow to arrive,

We've got a fence panel down but worst of all (or perhaps best of all!) I was forced to use my car today after not driving it for a few days. When I got back I was DAMNED grateful I did!!!

(my usual parking spot on the driveway)

The folks have gotta put in an insurance claim for the slates & the fence panel that have come off. Our swing seat in the back garden is doing it hardest to start flying, the BBQ cover is on its way, but apart from that nothing else (so far)

What a fucking day its been for us

We put up 3 small'ish marquees yesterday....

1. 9m x 6m
2. 9m x 15m
3. 15m x 30m

It was scary as shit been inside them today working 25ft up a ladder doing the light riggings, linings, etc ...had I known it was so bad we would of pissed of down the pub. The wind apparently in Ascot where we were was up to 80mph and boy did we know about it at times I hope it calms down tommorow otherwise that'll be someones wedding day ruined!

R.I.P. to those that lost their lives today!

what a COMPLETE cunt it was to get home

there were NO trains running from bristol to london (i wanted bath to swindon) or vise versa

they said, get the coach to bristol and get the train from there - fuck that, at that time of night it would have taken at least 4 hours to get home

they said there was a train to bradford on avon, so i rang the old dear and was gonna stay round theres and get pissed lol

but just before that train came in they announced that the line was open from to swindon only, so i was quite lucky, although i have no beer at home and im skint

anyway, had to get the bus from the station and all in i took just over 2 hours to get home

i was dreading looking at my new fence that i put up 2 weeks ago, but fuck me! the mo fo is still there...

next doors however, was in the middle of our garden

i think thats the only damage i can soo far thank fuck

Shed doors(about 10"x15") got blown off and flew straight into our garden wall. few bits and peices blown away but don't care

went to an a machinery event at newark showground and there was a marquee maybe 150"x70" don't know the size but bloody big blown up so it was bent then straight over and into the building at the otherside of it. Fucking crazy with health and safety closing peoples stands down and marquees being blown all over.
seen 2 artics on their sides and a box lorry in a ditch on my way home.

There were a few on M62/M1 today that blew over. Radio Leeds were telling high sided vehicles to park up ASAP. It's windy as frig here at the mo... my village is between the A1's A63 and A64 turn offs, on high ground

Check the plane taking off in that video
