Default Driving to Amsterdam, bit of advive needed... anyone been?

im going to amsterdam in a couple of months, and im taking the car.

Ill be leaving from notts, and ill probably be going from dover to calais.

what needs to be done to the car? is it a case of a service and a GB sticker? just drive on the ferry and drive off? how many hours is it to the 'ring from there?

Any experiences from the 'dam? im mainly going for the weed, and the girls (ill be with the missus though!)

what else can you do apart from smoke and oogle/fuck?

Best bit of advice I can give you is this:

Drive up the M1, take the M18 and then the M62. Get on a ferry in Hull and get off in Rotterdam - Amsterdam is only an hour's drive at the most from there

my advice is drive to the nearest airport and jump on a plane!

there not much to do there for young people once you done the coffee shops, smart shops looked at the hookers and done the sex trips shows

im off to pick my missus up tonight,,shes just coming home from a short break there

Hi Andre, Graceland gives good advice, a car in Amsterdam is a liability, can't park anywhere without paying a fortune.

Find somewhere to park a few miles out and get a tram to the centre.

Cheap flight and a train ride to Central station is best.
