hmmm, its not one ive heard of, this is just from my own observation, ive had sky for 10+ years and the quality of the picture on a lot of the channels is noticeably digitised - like watching a utube video

perhaps the loss of analogue radio signal is to do with the increase of air traffic like mobiles, dab, and freeview etc , but it again is noticably getting worse and worse the closer to the analogue swicth off date...
ive had sky for even longer one way or another and have noticed little difference

one factor people tend to over look is that big sets 32" + will show up any disturbances in pics that werent noticeable on smaller sets

if you have bought anything over the price of £150 in comet over the past year they will do it for £150 via a deal with sky.

i went in with a receipt my gran had. they never even asked to see it.

as far as i know currys get £30 directly from you and you pay sky £129.99

so even if you dont have a receipt just go in and chance your arm and say youve lost your receipt if they ask. im sure there just happy to take the £30

existing customers are also supposed to pay a £60 installation fee but i was never asked for this
Cheers mate

dont watch allot of telly cos i have a projector upstairs for my games and sky, movies etc(not hd YET but will be soon)
if you space to Dedicate a room for a projector,Surround sound etc i highly recomend this to increase your viewing pleasure
i will be watching the hitman hatton on this very setup this weekend
i bought a 42" lg plasma for the livingroom tho but it aint in hd cos the girlfriend will only watch pishy soaps anyway and i aint looking at pat fookin butcher in hd

will the sky hd work better on an hd projector due to the size of the screen(8ftx4ft)???

im onl y on a 28" widescreen panasonic though.

and a new skybox, whether its to do with the box not being able to uncompress the data fast enough on fast moving images, so it drops the quality to stop frame drop...?
