MMm probably a 7 id say , started my own company and have a nice car with no debt and earn ok money , going with the same girl for last 9 years got engaged in the summer and only thin thats missing is a house of our own , but just turned 25 so not tooo bad i suppose

Got a job interview tommorow morning @ 9:30am
Got a bit of money in my pocket and petrol in the Escort
Dont have to pay keep until I get a job.
Trying to start my own part time buisness for extra Car/Petrol/spending on crap money


Lows -

Trying to get back with the ex (Amanda) but she is acting all weird even though her best mate told me Amanda still likes/fancies me.
Not had sex for sooooo long
Sierra still aint insured
Money is running out and the bank keeps phoning me

9 when i've started doing what i've promised myself i'd do for years and make us more financially secure for our future

- great mrs who I have been seeing for 3 months now, couldn't be happier

Got great family and mates, but recently my nans had a fairly serious stroke, and although she has recovered well shes not really the same as she used to be , and had some horrible news late last year that my dad has cancer , and that it is incurable, but on the positive side at least they hope they can give him a good few years of good quality life - fingers crossed

so the usual swings and roundabouts - But as Rad says, make the best of it folks it don't come round again

id say a 4...

not enough money, my girlfriend and me still live with my mum and stepdad, few minor health worries, bit of debt, borrowing my dads car for last few months, huge cannabis dependancy thats draining my funds



however, at least i still have my girl, my huge family, a few GOOD friends, and im getting a hi-def tv in the next few weeks (adding to the debt but hey ho) any my car should be ready in a month or 2...

and i hope to be renting a house by september.

so itll hopefully be a 6 at the end of the year(with my own car back and a house), or a 7 if my girlfriend gets pregnant.

wouldnt reach a 10 untill the day i own my own house and have a nice car on the drive, but that wont happen for years so...

Its strange the way so many people (myself included) are only mentioning the material things in their life.

It could all be worse we you could get Cancer or some other killer disease then your life really would be a big fat 0.

After thinking about it im now re-evaluating my life and I would say my life is a nice fat 10! For the following 10 reasons....

1. No-one I know or care about is drastically ill.
2. All my family loves me and I love them.
3. I might not have a girlfriend but who gives a shit, its not like im lonely.
4. I have got loads of loyal and trustworthy friends.
5. I might not have a job but I will do soon, I just have to wait for the right one to come along.
6. Money does not buy happiness or good health so im happy with none.
7. I aint had sex for a while but I have a wicked imagination and a strong right wrist .
8. My Sierra might not be insured at the moment but its still in my possesion, it runs pefectly, its rust free, its taxed and thats better than not having one.
9. I can use the Escort as much as I like when I like.
10. I have a happy and secure homelife.
