escorts are more expensive to insure than sierras, when I sold my saph and got my escort 4 years ago the it was £300 more!

LE2 is my post code don't think its bad, the quote I had was with Boncaster I have just rung Carole Nash they didn't fancy the agreed value bit so they are ringing me back!

didnt realise there was such a hike in insurance with an escos!!!!!!!

But with a £20k agreed value I suppose that is a good quote.

so how does this agreed value thing work then??? I have heard that Mike Rainbird had a bit of a mare with an agreed value policy when he dinked his saff???

I would assume guaranteed value means just that???

Im paying around 850 with HIC on my 3dr - all mods declared, but then I also had an accident a couple of years ago, a ban on my licence and only 2 years no claims.

They sometimes ask within last 5 years, but only takes affect within last 3 years.

Sounds good mate-would be wanting to find out exactly what they will pay out on the agreed value though, as without an inspection from them who's to say it's worth 20k?
