Will be good to see how much of a difference your cam timing will make to the lag as its something not a lot of places spend that much time on.
Think my UT t38 is a special build aswell, it has bigger wastegate washer and the internals have been polished up a bit to aid flow. Ive not got a clue what sort of boost AVA plan to run it at ,will just have to wait and see what sort of power it makes when the mapping starts. Im hoping that they can keep the lag to a minimal with cam adjustment but with my cams that might be hard, as there more a top end power cam.

Im running bd10's which in my old engine wernt that great for low down torque but good for top end power, so will be good to see if there will be any change with cam timing as never had verniers before for adjustment.

i'd have to check the receipt but form memory it's 26.5mm ports, double valve springs,BD16+ cams and probably a few other bits.

the greys were fine when the engine was brand new,but as it's loosened up it a bit it seems to be wanting more fuel, and even with 4.5bar fuel pressure we can't get more than about 1.9bar held safely,so i think the greys i have must be a slightly low flowing batch,or maybe there are some other issues with voltages? although nothing stood out.....but it'll a be fine when the 1000cc's go in

.....somethings up like...i'm on light blues and a standard head and making the same power...i think maybe checking what u think might be wrong first, before u go for the 1000cc's

I remember a post where Duncoss said they set the boost on his t38 around 26/27psi as it was getting near the limit of the greys without upping fuel pressure any higher.

nah i honestly don't think anything major is up....but t'll require a complete remap so between me and Karl we'll check everything over

you can get 'off the shelf chips',but ultimately a live map would be better

Stu's "off the shelf chips" tailored to your engine spec are very good. I have one in mine. Off boost crusing if you guve a shit about fuel economy is very good at 14.6:1 AFR. Plenty of fuel when on boost and an in all a very good chip
