Sorry to hear this, not the first time i've seen a cossie loose a wheel.
A good lesson that on old cars, you should think about replacing the wheel studs as 15 years or so of doing wheel nuts up on them (espically if its some monkey with an impact wrench) can over stretch the studs and eventually results in this type of thing

just filled the levels up and started the car it gave a masshoosive bang out the zorst, other than it sounding a bit lumpy (bit cold and dam from being in the garage i am hoping)hopfully the engines ok, and it looks like no other damage underneath, the TCA and crossmember both show signs of hitting the road, but dont seem to have hopefully done anything other than left scoring marks. the TCA's were new in July,
I need to get the car properly looked at, but at the moment i need the following
New Wing
Rad
Discs (& pads)
maybe a caliper
Possibly a powersteering pipe (as my power steering fluid has deffo dropped)
front hub
front wheel needs to be refurbed
front bumper splitter
thinking its deffo looking like an insurance job

Sad news Gra. Hope you get it fixed ok at minimal cost to you.
to the goons who you think may have tampered with the car.

Back in black!
iTrader: (37)
I had a works transit van that lost the nsf wheel on the m3 doing about 75 80 mph took the fucking brakes with it.
it had only come out from a service the day before.
wheel went up bank and then across the 3 lanes of the motorway just missing a c70 volvo
All the recovery guy could say was all the other transits that done this flipped onto its side

Re post about Mad4 it
Hi guys put this up about a week ago but had no joy and wondered if anyone else could shed any light on this? Does anyone know if Collin at Mad4 it down at Liskeard is still trading breaking RS's for spares? I had his email address and two telephone numbers but no joy now. Has he ceased trading does anyone know? Any info would be useful,,,,Thanks for any help Cheers....Pete
